AND NEW Lyrical Abstraction
The world of abstraction emerged as a response to the most complex dreams of artists, the ways that imagination gave life, or in the middle of the game and objectual gesture demonstrating feelings in different ways, and changing alien. There are many meanings to identify these expressions, from the most lyrical and utopian to the most concrete and geometric.
These intimate paintings of Julio Martinez (Nicaragua 1961), combine a large part of my statements, first in his abstract landscape paintings encodes its lyrical through very specific concepts, or whether the composition of a poetic landscape, the frames in vertical and horizontal axes that define a particular art.
The Red Sea and Sky, the Forest vegetation, the mountains and the sky, waterfalls with Grey Sky, Wind and Snow Mountain Manes, Mountain of Fire, Burning Mountain ... all of them, all these paintings take us to an abstract landscape lyrical content ... but with lines of concrete painting: abstract geometry; touch or remove the boundaries ... boundaries ...
The paintings which becomes more figurative, where hints and touches the essence of the figure is more narrative, a story of the butchers that projects to the victim, the masons who built themselves, cooks the smoke builds range of the freaking street citadina of Managua, which gives them life as ghosts in constant dialogue and smoky whisper coven.
His monotypes, monochrome and fitiformes, testing shy of bucolic picture, take us back to mountains, forests, spikes, leaves and flowers, trees dancing, magic, black and white, light and dark, resource economics and color, economy of space where the warp and woof of vine foliage define the landscape non-existent, invented, recreated his dream, to bring an enchanted forest ride unreal, surreal, anti-realism, against reality, against time ...
Lyrically full of poetry, from the concrete mass of colorful, vibrant and glowing landscapes to figurative lyrical landscapes, numen addition and black and white monotype, the primitive picture, lyrical and playful world ...
Magic, abstract painting, a privilege of the eye and hands, the creative hand, the maker of hand painting and graphic ... where so important becomes the eye of the beholder, spectator, participant creation.
